We met Annie on Bishops Beach in Homer Alaska. We shared that we had common teachings in Lakota medicine ways and I invited her to tea. She gifted us 3 girls with jade. I was blessed to know her.

Sorry to hear of Annie's passing. She was a very special lady to me growing up. Fond memories of staying on the farm as well as an adventure to Pauanui before it was what it is today. Much love and condolences to Joanne, Russell and Virginia. Raewyn Ireland, Kerikeri.

Beloved Annie. You were (and still are) an angel in my life. I first met you in 1983 in your capacity as a Homeopath for my new baby and subsequently my whole family and many friends and clients. I honour your magnificent life and all that you did in service to humanity. Time to rest now after giving of your heart & soul to so many. My deepest respects to your grieving family. May your soul depart peacefully and I know you have inspired many to do what they have come here to do. Wahine toa !! Aroha nui, Patricia Prema

Ngaere will be sadly missed, such a beautiful person. She possessed such a wealth of knowledge. Thank you Annie for passing on the family history to us the "younger generations" especially about the old days at Anawhata. Lesley Cox.

BOTTCHER, Ngaere Annie (nee Ngaere Pooch). Passed away on November 28, 2019. Dearly loved sister of the late Les and Gwen Pooch. A special aunt to David, Wilma, Mary-Anne, Geoffrey. We have so many fond memories of the times we shared together, the laughs and jokes around the table, Anawhata holidays, farm stays. She will be dearly missed by us all.
