LLOYD, Nell Hathaway (nee Holder). Died peacefully in The Wilson Wing, Moana House, Whangamata, on Saturday 3rd March, 2018. Nell had turned 99 in February this year. Nell is survived by her sons Ross (Tokoroa) and Max (Auckland). She was mother- in-law to Kathy (Auckland), much-loved "Gran" to her grandchildren and their partners Martyn and Sandra (Brisbane), Sebastian and Kelly (Auckland), Tamarapa and Huia (Rotorua), Cameron (Tauranga), and Joshua and Karla (Auckland). She was loved Gran-gran to Brodie (Tauranga); Aiden and Kayne (Brisbane); Huria, Hokura and Te Uranga (Rotorua); Amber, Jamie-Leigh and Michael (Tauranga); and George (Auckland). And if that wasn't enough, she was great-great gran to Eli and Flynn (Brisbane) and Riley (Tauranga). She is the last of her generation of Holders and is preceded in death by her siblings, Alan (Mangatangi), Harry (Mangatangi), Anne (Te Aroha), Jean (Te Aroha) and Miriam (Auckland). A gathering in recognition of Nell's life will be held at the Whangamata RSA, Port Road, on Wednesday 7th March, at 11am, with a reception to follow. Whanau and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Nell's life. Nell will be at her house, 118 Everitt Crescent, Whangamata, from 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) 6th March.
