Dear Jill
I was very sad to read of Neal's death.
My apologies for not being able to attend his funeral, but be aware that my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
Neal was always special to me and your family to ours because we saw in him a truly genuine Christian gentleman, and someone whom many looked up to and admired.
His sense of humour, which insisted on coming through in spite of the odd set-back, was an inspiration.
I can still feel the sense of comfort and thankfulness we felt at the Whimp presence at Joy's Memorial Service all those years ago a really special memory.
With my warm love and sympathy to you all,
Maurice Gorbey
