Nanette NELSON Obituary

NELSON, Nanette Mary (Also known as Clancey). Formerly of Kerikeri, Bay of Islands. Nan passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Wednesday 14 July 2021 at the Whitby Rest Home, Whitby, Porirua, aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Wyn Nelson and the late Neville Clancey. Loved mother and mother-in- law of: Katie and Greg Solomon, Keith Nelson, Eric and Suzanne Nelson, Robyn and Peter McKeown, Wendy and Iosua Esera, Jackie and Ross Robertson. Beloved Nana of David, Mario, Ata, Grant, Owen, John, Simon, Paul, Hayden, Stewart, Tessa, Gareth, Brooke and Jimi and Great-Grand Nana to David, Florence, Otto, Emilia, Arden, Louis and Hugo. Special thanks to the staff of Whitby Rest Home for their care of Nan. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dementia New Zealand would be appreciated and may be sent to PO Box 5132, Auckland 1141 or left at the service. A service to celebrate Nan's life will be held at The Ninness Funeral Home Chapel, 17 Kenepuru Drive, Porirua on Monday 19 July, commencing at 1:00pm. Thereafter there will be a private cremation.
