Nancy HANSEN Obituary

To Nancys family.It is with great sadness that we have learnt of Nancy,s passing.My sister and I attended Epsom Girls Grammar with Nancy- being in the hostel we shared many lasting memories.It was great to see her at the reunions over the years.We then attended Ardmore College and another reunion in Gisborne.She told us about her love of golf and her beautiful daughters.And Bob we have a photo of you when you played rugby for Counties Colts with my husband Don Ferguson.Other memories are when she and I performed at an Epsom concert She did the hula and I sang and played guitar.The Rev Baragwanath didnt want us to stop.!! Nancy was also a very good pianist.Did she carry on .Oh yes and she always shared her bananas with us when a box arrived from Rarotonga.We all loved you Nancy.Arohanui Janice Ferguson and Kay Worrall(nee Boynton)

Bob and family , so sorry to hear of your loss , my days of working with and being around you both at Garage Services Maramarua are one of the best memories I have of my teen years. Really sorry I could not be there today but have literally only just been told . All my love to you all , Alan Bowman

I was in Nancy's dormitory in our 3rd form year. I remember hers always being a kind girl, not the sort to be hurtful at any time. Sympathy to all.
