GARDINER, Myrtle Blanche. Died peacefully on October 22, 2011 in her own home on Great Barrier Island. Dearly loved wife of the late Noel (Wig). Much loved mother (Gurt) of Michael and Penny, Richard and Norma, Maryanne and Alan. Loved Gaga of Carrie and Richard, Scott and Bianca, Olivia and Matt, Lynley and Chris. Loved great-grandmother of Maddison and Jay, Henry and Poppy. The Auckland family would like to thank the good people of Great Barrier who cared for Gurt to her end, particularly Michael, Karen and Ken, Coral, the Barrier Medical Centre and Barrier Airlines.
