Myra HOOGWERF Obituary

Liked Mrs Hoogwerf very much. A very tolerant mother & wife who put up with me & many others congregating at their house for pre party meet ups for all the bay boys & girls on Friday & Saturday nights. She made up for mr Hoogs grumpiness (fair enough too) at us for taking over their living room & no doubt dealing with the neighbours the next days with all the noisy cars & goings on in the street. As you can imagine! A very nice lady. Much respect.

My sincere sympathy to you all. I adored Myra as a child when we were neighbours and have thought about her often over the years. She was a special influence in my live. She certainly lived a long life. May she RIP.

Myra loved this. She told me later she regretted not asking for a burn on the open road. A real goer!! I will have a drink on her 100th birthday to celebrate her remarkable life. Ruth
