Deepest Sympathy is extended to Judith , Vev, Pam, and Alex - from Susan on behalf of The Revie Family - we all go back a long way. I do not think we realised what a great community we had in Crookston - I know not long before Gordon, my Father passed away in 2008 he said he much he had valued his friendhip wt=ith your Father Gerald, same age and same class at School. Your Mum and our Mum same age too - and of course Peter with his business along the road, always ready to assist. His wife, cannot recall her name - could have been Elsie, did not drive a car, and Mum used to take her with her some times - was with my Mum the day my middle child Janet was born, and she pushed my son Craig in the pushchair in Gore streets, while Mum visited The Hospital - Janet passed away just after Dad - due to a rare form of cystic fibrosis -married with small children. With respect and warmth - I remember the day of Gerald's Funeral in Chch - it was so special that day - so like a school reunion which I have talked about numerous times over the years - thinking of how many families you are related to in the West Otago district - the Crookston Cemetry I visit as often has possible and had a seat made for all to enjoy on behalf of the Revie - Ottrey Families of West Otago - remember my Mum was an Ottrey - only child to Ab and Mum's mother who died in childbirth day after Mum was born. Edward the only child to Grandad Ab's second marriage over a decade later. Apologies- back to the now - I hope Myra enjoyed Auckland - I can remember visiting your parents in Chch a few times - always so welcoming and with lovely smiles. Was at Class Reunion in Tapanui for those in Form # upwards from 1963 - I was in Form 3 in 1963 - it was a lot of fun, even had Jeff Rea singing, I am thinking of you - bringing back memories, Mum passed away Nov 2012 in Dunedn. Take care - from Susan McPherson of Villa 51 - Rangeview, Levin - I travel by train daily to my job in Kiwibank in Wellington - and yes I am 66, Duncan turned 65 in May
