Murray REID Obituary

REID, Murray Scott. Died on 25 January 2015, aged 74, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Waiuku. Dearly loved husband of Cleone and father of Duncan, Struan, Kathy, Glenda, also Fiona, and grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. A Service to celebrate Murray's life will be held at Franklin Baptist Church, 128 - 144 Victoria Street West, Pukekohe on Thursday 29 January at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation.

Murray was very welcoming to us when we first moved to Pukekohe. He was engaging with or children and was a tower of strength. Our prayers are with you Cleone.

Cleone Regret that we did not know of Murray's death-gone home to be with His LORD- until Saturday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Murray was a great friend to Brian while attending Massey, he sang at our wedding in 1962 and assisted us at times on the farm. He became a very mature man in Christian circles and was a great mentor to many. At this sad time we both are thinking of you, Cleone and all your family. Brian & Irene
