REID, Murray Anthony Tragically taken in Napier on 30th September 2015. Aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Glenys. Dearly loved Dad of Scott, and Jane, and their partners Leisa and Quentin. Most precious Poppa of Aaron. Friend and gardening guru to many. Please come and share your stories of Murray at his service at the Pyes Pa Memorial Park Chapel, 403 Pyes Pa, Road, on Friday 9th October at 1pm. If you are unable to attend the family would appreciate tributes sent to [email protected] to be read at the service. Please bring a flower from your garden for "Murray the Gardener" Any donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and can be left at the service.

To Aunty Glenys Scott,Jane & Aaron it was an honour to be at the beautiful service on Friday we will miss Uncle Murray dearly take care and God bless he will be forever remembered in our hearts x

HI Aunty Glenys Uncle Murray was one I a million present,passionate and always interested in what we are doing... Best brother and friend to Owen we always loved hearing stories and snippets of your adventures over the years... Brothers in arms so glad they got to share Uncle Ashley's 80th and have a bit of a rev up ... Precious brother time together. All Nieces and nephews were so proud and thrilled when you and uncle Murray got married we so loved all your kindness and sharing and always made us all feel very special. Murray expressed he so wanted to bring Glenys to Northland to stay with Quentin myself and G... We all loved you Uncle Murray and thank you for being you ...RIP Dear Uncle Murray Love from Mazz, Quentin and G xxx

we would have loved to come to the funeral as well but the distance for mum to travel at the moment. shes been unwell

Hi Glenys & family,
We are very sorry to hear about Murray.
We all had a lot of fun & Laughter with you & Murray when we were out tramping,have many happy memories with the MTC Club. You & Murray were both great Presidents & did so much for the club.Some of our weekends away were very happy times.
Yes we have moved to Matamata this year sorry we won't be able to come to his funeral but we will come over & see you one day later on.
