They say great teachers inspire us to seek our own path. They encourage us to discover our talents. We were fortunate enough to be in the presence of one, thank you Sir, you sought to capture and inspire our imaginations and harness the unseen potential within us. Like a flame you consumed yourself each day so that we could see our own talents and have an inkling of the journey that lay ahead of us. Of all your unforgettable sound of classical fervour that embellished the atmosphere each day, one will always rise above the rest for me- the powerful and enchanting, soul soothing sound of Johann Pachelbel canon in D...Thank you Sir for igniting the spark of creativity that infused my confidence in my own abilities which has helped me to realize and pursue my passion as an Artist..

Greatly Missed, R.I.P.

My school years at Porirua College greatly influence me now-even more. Mr Bloxham helped me & my family during these years. I am grateful to have known such a man.Such men are hard to find these days.I would like to pass on my sincerest condolences to his family and my apologies of not being at his funeral-my commitments are overseas right now.His art influences will continue to be felt for a very long time.

My deepest sympathy to the Bloxham family. I took your class Art History at Porirua College which I thought was about painting and drawing. You opened my eyes to world of art and architecture unknown to me and many other students. Til this day I still remember the famous artists and artworks known throughout the world and hope to see one day. You were a teacher who is inspired us all. So sad you have left us Mr Bloxham. You enriched the lives of alot of Porirua College students, myself included. You were a choice mentor, and now I'll miss out in spending some quality time with you! kept delaying it, and now you're gone, a golden opportunity missed! I spoke of you to my children while they growing up, and will continue to for a long time yet, and as soon as they heard of your passing, they straightway knew who I was talking of and how special you were to me.
