BARRINGTON, Murray. On June 25, 2017 resulting from an accident; aged 73 years. Much loved husband of Averill, and much loved father of Kelly, and Richard. A service for Murray will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm, Dunedin, on Friday June 30, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Rescue Helicopter Trust would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 32 Taieri Mouth Road, Brighton, Dunedin 9091. I've known Murray and Averill since the late 1990's and a nicer, kinder person who walked this earth would be hard to find. I sell and wear the scalp prosthesis he invented and my life would not be the same without his invention but more than that, it would not be the same if I had not known him. In the US, business people are often hard-nosed and greedy. Murray was the antithesis of this. He only wanted to help people, take good care of his workers and be a great husband and father to Averill, Richard and Kelly. He was a great friend and the world is a poorer place without him in it.
