Muriel HOWELL Obituary

HOWELL, Muriel (Mu) Howell, Muriel (Mu, Flossie) nee Boon, born 7 August 1922. Cherished mother of Manda (Auckland) and Kim Broadbent-Howell (Dunedin). Beloved wife of Stan (deceased 1989). Mu died peacefully and unexpectedly after a few hours in hospital on 23 May 2014. In keeping with her lifelong passion for learning she has left her body for research at Otago Medical School. To her daughters, grand children, great grandsons, extended whanau and her many friends made over nearly 92 years, she leaves a huge legacy of smiles and inspiration. A wonderful character, will be missed with love by Manda, Jo, Kim and Michael; Ravi, Tuskan, and Shanti, Shona, Alene and their families, by Solomon (his GG) and Ithaca, Harry and Ghiy (special GG).
