Moira REED Obituary

REED, Moira Margaret (Daly). On February 16, 2017 peacefully at Te Hopai Rest Home and Hospital, Wellington; aged 89 years. Loved wife of the late Robin Reed. Adored sister of Evelyn and her late brothers Leo, Joe and Ray. Beloved aunt of Sandra, Marie, Carmel, Kerry, Helen, Michael, Frances, Timothy, Patricia, Shelagh and Matthew and her many great nephews and nieces. Loved sister-in-law to Celia, Simon, Nick, Jane, Lucy, Will and her many Reed nephews and nieces. A valued teacher and mentor to many students over a lifetime of dedicated service. Special thanks to the staff of Te Hopai who cared for Moira with such compassion. In lieu of flowers donations to the Suzanne Aubert Compassion Centre would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A funeral mass will be held in the Chapel of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Hill Street, Thorndon, Wellington, on Thursday, February 23 at 1pm.
