Moira GLEESON Obituary

GLEESON, Moira Anne. Aged 100. On October 24, 2018, peacefully, surrounded by her family. Dearly loved wife of the late Thomas James and loved mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Helen, Simon and Colleen, Mark (deceased) and Kathy, Justin, Siobhan and Mark. Loved Nana of Vanya, Patrick (deceased), Amanda, Brendon, Dominic, Nigel, Sarah, Jeremy, Rachel, Liam, Thomas, Haley and Francesca and her nine great grandchildren. The family thank the Little Sisters of the Poor and the staff at St Joseph's Home for their love and devoted care of Moira. A vigil rosary will be held at 7pm at the Little Sisters of the Poor, St Joseph's Home Chapel (9 Tweed Street, Herne Bay) on Wednesday October 31 at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of The Good Shepherd, Telford Avenue, Balmoral on Thursday November 1, 2018 at 11am followed by private burial. To remember Moira's love of colourful scarves the family would like everyone to wear a scarf. In lieu of flowers a donation to The Little Sisters of the Poor (Tweed Street) would be appreciated.
