Mohan PANCHA Obituary

PANCHA, Mohan Chhana. Sadly passed away on Monday, 3rd July 2023, aged 68 years old. In his last moments, he was with his beloved wife Urmila Pancha, and daughters, Vanisha and Parisha Pancha. He was father-in-law to Rob McKeller, grandfather to Priya Pancha McKellar, and has a baby grandson due in September. Mohan was a beloved brother-in-law of Kalaben and Maganbhai Patel, and Pravinbhai and Manishaben Patel. He was a beloved uncle to Tina and Jigar Patel, Kalpisha and Nilesh Patel, Mital and Ashvin Patel, Karishma and Mayur Patel, and Jamin Patel. Also, a beloved grand-uncle to Deeva, Alina, Yana and Jay. He was born in Otahuhu, Auckland to Chhanabhai and Ratan Pancha, and later moved to Bucklands Beach. His grandfather and father immigrated from Navsari, India to NZ in the early 20th century. His family extends to South Africa and the UK. Mohan will be remembered as being kind, intelligent, witty, calm, helpful, and a source of wise advice. He was much loved in the Beachlands community where he ran a flourishing superette for 31 years with his wife. Mohan took immense pride in his daughters' achievements as a doctor and lawyer; and he enjoyed several trips with his family around the world. Mohan is deeply missed and memories of him will be treasured. Rest in peace; forever in our hearts. His family will celebrate Mohan's life at a funeral service this Saturday, 8th July at 11am at Ann's Funeral Home at 11c Bolderwood Place, Wiri.
