NOLAN, Miriam Beatrice (Betty). On Saturday 8 April 2017 Betty passed away peacefully at Julia Wallace Hospital with Ron holding her hand and surrounded by the love of her family. In her 86th year. Dearly loved and loving wife of the late Peter Nolan. Dearly loved mum and mum-in-law of Sheryl and Mike Percy (Christchurch); Anne Grant and Paul Casey (Gold Coast); Murray and Debz Nolan (Auckland); Lyn and Ron Harman (Palmerston North); Mike and Julie Nolan (Palmerston North); Paul Nolan and Amber Christie (Darfield). Dearest friend of Wendy and Ian Creelman (Methven). Treasured nana of her 15 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Betty's family would like to thank mum's GP Dr Steven Zambazos for his wonderful care of both mum and dad over many years. To the staff at Metlifecare mum truly loved her apartment and the 2 years she spent with you all. To the staff at Julia Wallace thank you for the love, support and care you gave mum in the last 10 weeks of her life. Thank you Lyn, Ron and family for your love and commitment to mum and dad over many years. A celebration of mum's life will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North on Wednesday 19 April 2017 at 11am followed by a committal service at Kelvin Grove Crematorium Chapel.
