MILNE, Milton Bayne (Bayne). Bayne died peacefully on 11 January 2026 aged 92, with loved ones around him. Adored only grandson and son of Harry and Annie Lucas, and Francis and Amy Milne. Beloved husband of Shirley Betsy (nee Hadler), soulmates for 77 years. Kind and steadfast father and father-in- law of Jody and Garth Lawrence, Rhett and Maree Milne, Dirk Milne and Sheryn Thornton, and Donna-Lee Milne (recently deceased). Valued and admired Uncle of Lyndal, and Douglas (deceased) Buhler. Proud Poppa and Poppa-in-law of Victoria and Dan Thomas, Millie, and Libby Lawrence, Oliver, and Cameron Milne, Finn and Courtney Milne, Georgia Marriner, Mac, and Abe Keane. Deeply loved Great-Poppa of Maia, Tipene and Manawa Thomas, Finley and Fletcher Milne, and Isabell Dunn. Passionate farmer, founder of "Glenmilton" stud and stalwart of the NZ Ayrshire Breeders Association. A true gentleman who will be deeply missed.
