Miles DILLON Obituary

DILLON, Miles Selwyn. On 1 September 2023, the first of Spring, aged 69, our beloved Miles entered his own new season as he died peacefully after a brave, gracious struggle with cancer. Cherished son of the late Marsden and Lilla Dillon, adored brother of Anne and Greg Graydon, and beloved family member of Pam, Jocelyn, Audrey, Scott and all the Dillon and Rutter Whanau. A deep and loyal friend to so many! He lived life fully with zest and enthusiasm. A private cremation will be held. On Saturday 18 November a memorial service will honour and celebrate our loved one. He has sailed into the sunset here, but a new dawn is now his. Gone from our sight, but never our hearts! See yorlyi morla!!!

Anne and Greg- I feel so blessed to have shared special times with you all when I was in New Zealand in March! Dear Miles was such a brave soul and had such a full life! Bless you both for caring for Miles so beautifully - may he rest in peace and rise in glory-
