Milan KOSTANICH Obituary

KOSTANICH, Milan Nedjelko. On 31 March 2021 in his 90th year. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of Shirley for 54 years. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Tony and Pat. Very loved uncle of Matt, Jane, Suzan, Allan, and their families. "Milan, so many happy memories." Our thanks to the staff of St. Margarets Hospital for your care and attention. A celebration of his life will be held at Holy Cross Church, corner View and Lavelle Roads, Henderson, Auckland at 11am, Tuesday 6 April 2021 followed by private interment. Pocivao U Miru

Milan was a gentleman. During family gatherings and dinners, I often ended up sitting next to him, as he and I usually ended up having discussions about languages and European history and occasionally politics. I really enjoyed his knowledge and enthusiasm for learning. We will miss him very much. Condolences to Shirley and Milan's brother's family. Joe and I are thinking of you all, especially today, as we are unable to be with you.
