Apologies for not attending Mick's funeral today.
Arrival of Covid yesterday has prevented this

So sorry to learn of Mick's death.
When Mick and Fiona were running Motueka River Lodge, we were managing Timara Lodge near Blenheim. We enjoyed many reciprocal visits and had many laughs together. After Motueka River Lodge we continued our relationship with Mick and Faye.
His humour and story telling skills will be remembered for may years to come. What a character. Sadly missed and thinking of you all. Fondest regards, Grant and Deb

We continue to mourn your loss Mick - larger than life and a bright star in our lives for close on 40 years . Sadly we cannot be there to share in what we hope is a celebration of a life well lived , but you´ll remain in our thoughts and memories forever

To Claire, Chris, Chloe, Faye & families; I'm deeply sorry for your loss and just want you to know I care about you & share in your sadness. I had the greatest pleasure in getting to know Mick as a neighbour & friend & trust your happy memories will give you peace & comfort.

Had many laughs over the years working for and knowing Mick ..a true legend Mick still features in many of our stories good memories
We are currently in Australia and unable to be there to farewell Mick but will have a drink in his honor
