Michele LEEDER Obituary

Leeder, Michele Janeene (Nee Ferguson). Passed away peacefully surrounded with love on Thursday 30 October 2025. Much loved daughter of late Trevor Alexander and Ethelwyn Murial Ferguson, treasured wife of Brian, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Mark and Racheal, Joel and Hanka, and Brook and Rachel, and adored Gran of Georgia, William, Ari, Jakob, Felix, and Zara. A celebration of Michele's life will be held at The North Harbour Chapel of Dils Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, Auckland at 2.30pm Friday 7 November 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations to Harbour Hospice (https://harbourhospice.org.nz/donate/) would be greatly appreciated. Our gratitude goes to all of those who cared for Michele while in their care. I was lucky enough to work with Michele twice over the years, first in the ANZ in Wellington then again at WBHS in Auckland and always found her to be a very lovely, thoughtful colleague and on the occasions we socialised together great fun. Brian, Allan remembers the socialising after work when you both worked at the Bank also. We are both so very sorry for you and your families loss.

Lots of lovely memories of Michele from early banking days through to having our own children. Up until recently we used to enjoy sharing photos of our own grown up children & grandchildren.
Michele loved her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren.

Now at peace - much love to the Leeder family.

I was so lucky to have met Michele about 30 years ago and became great friends. She was a very thoughtful and caring person, for many years we spent Fridays together, lunching, shopping and just sharing time together. Having MicheIe in my life was the best thing that happened to me, I'll miss her terribly but she's at peace now and will forever have a special place my heart . Love Elaine Xx
