Dear Rose.
I just read about Mike's passing today. I will never forget our days together on David street. Those were wonderful years. My own Rose passed away in 2004.
You and the memory of Mike will always be in my heart.

We have very few true friends in this life,
I wake up mourning the passing of my friend Mike,wondering why our journey through life ended this soon.
We were supposed to grow old disgracefully,not to be it seems.
I am thankful for the awesome times we have shared , the duck shooting,fishing and family events .
His and Rosie's hospitality,humour and advice
It is difficult to celebrate a life ending when it hurts this much ,I guess the pain we feel is relative to the love we shared.
Thanks for the memories my "brother from another mother".
I will miss you eternally.

Mike was an "old school" family Doctor, a "spade was a spade" and he didn't suffer fools gladly but was also compassionate and caring when needed.

To the Whitwell family. So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Deepest sympathy to all the family. He was a great guy and was my doctor for over 30 years. He help me through some tough times when I was feeling down and was always there to listen. We had some great chats on my visits to him and sometimes went over the 15 minutes delegated and I will miss that and it won't be the same without him. He will be missed by a lot of people. Rosemary, so sad to hear of Mike's passing

So sad to hear of Mikes passing. He was a very passionate man about his profession, family and fishing. He worked with my Mum many years ago at the Waitara Maternity, (Jean Radford) Mike also cared for her in her last few months and also my Dad, (Cleve Radford). He has looked after me for 42 years and my family as well.
