Sincere sympathy to Nora & family on the passing of Mick.
We had the privilege of getting to know Nora and Mick when we lived in New Zealand and can honestly say that one could not have had better friends. We will always remember Mick's discerning wit and for dispensing sound calm advice when called on to do so.
As natives of County Mayo we were all very proud of our county and we all had many a good night together organising Mayo reunions. However Nora and Mick were heavily involved too in Irish community work in Auckland and were a fine example of a couple who were unselfish in ensuring the greater good of the community.
In concluding it is a testament to Nora and Mick of their standing to see the fine family that they have raised. So Mick as we say goodbye we can honestly say it will be impossible to forget you especially as you gave us all so much positivity to remember.
Helen, Joshua and Thomas Forde Mayo.

WALSHE, Michael. Special friend for 60 years of Kathleen and Pat Faughey, fond "Uncle Mick" of Daniel and Adele, Antonia and Tom and their families. A gentle man with a ready wit. 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant." RIP
