Michael Francis STEVENS

Michael STEVENS Obituary

STEVENS, Michael Francis. On 16 June 2021 in his 73rd year. Dearly loved husband of Di and the Late Barbara. Loving Dad and Father-in-law of Frances and Dale (Waiuku), Patrick and Laura (Whangarei), Timothy and Deb (Karratha, Western Australia), and Phillip and Azrin (Hamilton). Loving Grandad of Moana and Arabella: Tom and Meg: Zeta and Tyla: Jacob, Noah, Alyssa and Hannah. A service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at Chartwell Cooperating Church (St Alban's), 124 Comries Road, Hamilton on Monday 21st June at 2pm followed by private cremation. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

I AM A TE AUTE COLLEGE OLD BOY FROM 1974 TO 1979. I WAS A STAR PUPIL OF MIKE "CAT" STEVENS - THE BEST TEACHER AT TAC DURING MY TIME. HE WAS A GREAT INFLUENCE ON MANY OF US - AND A LEGEND IN HIS /OUR TIME. A STAR MEANT THAT I HID IN THE SHADOW OF PAUL HARMER. BUT MIKE WAS A ROTENE MAN TO THE END!! BLESSINGS AND LOVE TO YOU ALL.
