Michael NOONAN Obituary

NOONAN, Michael Anthony. Michael died peacefully at Auckland City Hospital with his family beside him on 11 June 2023, aged 82. Beloved husband of Rosslyn; proud father of Matt and Sarah; loving Papa and Grandad of Hudson, Bruno, Lola and Elvis. A memorial service in Auckland will be held at a date to be advised.

Rosslyn, Matthew and Sarah, Sending you love and sympathy. I have fond memories of Michael at a party in the garden at Thorndon, entrancing the small children with womble tales. His storytelling skills were a gift he shared with many. Thinking of you all,

I will never forget the "reverse strip" (ending up being dressed) which Michael did at the TVPDA Conference at Tatum Park in the 1980s to the tune - I think - of "Big Spender": it was really a hoot!
