In Loving Memory of Michael ("Mike") Francis Newland

It is with great sadness that we at Resource Recycling Technologies NZ Ltd acknowledge the passing of Michael, fondly known as Mike, from Wood and Thompson Engineering.

Mike was more than a trusted contractor - he was a friend, a familiar face, and someone who brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. He worked closely with our team for many years, always demonstrating exceptional skill, reliability, and pride in his craft. His workmanship spoke for itself, but it was his easy going nature, kindness, and willingness to lend a hand that truly stood out.

Mike was deeply respected and admired by the previous owners of RRT, with whom he shared not just a professional bond but a lasting friendship. His visits to site were always welcomed - he´d brighten the day with a smile, a good story, or a bit of humour that reminded everyone why he was so well-liked.

Although some of us did not know Mike personally, we have heard only the highest praise from those who did. It´s clear that he made a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of working with him. His passing leaves a great sadness in our hearts, and he will be dearly missed by all of us at Resource Recycling Technologies.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Mike´s family, friends, and everyone at Wood and Thompson Engineering during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Mike. Your kindness, friendship, and hard work will always be remembered.
