I had the privilege of being on the Building Committee for the Pakuranga AA & Harrier Club with Mike - his friendship, enthusiasm, dedication, commitment and focus was truly incredible in every respect. Sadly I was overseas so was not able to share in your farewell but want you to know that you were a true leader and inspiration!
A big thank you for your contribution to my personal running journey - happily smiling you ensured we 'pushed the boundaries'.
Keep on running Mike ...

My memory of Mike goes back to 1978 when I joined Pakuranga Harrriers. The day I joined I was made welcome by Mike who over the years always had a big smile and a kind word for everyone. The many years of enthusiastic volunteering for Pakuranga Harriers were appreciated by fellow runners. Keep on running Mike.
Cheers Bev Lorimer.

To one of the great characters I've know, a business partner that kept me on my toes and for all the marvelous times enjoying horse racing that ended in many a stable party. You'll be missed but never forgotten!
