McGUINNESS, Michael Thomas. Passed away peacefully at his home in Auckland on 28 August 2021 with his family at his side. Dearly loved partner of Megan Coates and loved Dad of Jack and Thomas. Loved son of the late Frank and Eileen McGuinness (Hari Hari). Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Colleen and the late Ben Barry (Sydney), Mary (Sr. Mary Ellen) (Greymouth), Kevin and Shirley, (Kaiapo), Trish (Christchurch) and Brenda and Jo Roland (Brisbane). Loved and respected member of the Coates family, Heather and the late Basil (Havelock North), Janie and Darin Anderson (Putaruru), Jeremy and Sandra Coates (Auckland), and Daniel and Angela Coates (Auckland). Much loved uncle of his many nephews and nieces. Loved and respected by the staff of Davis Food Ingredients. Cherished memories of a generous man who touched so many lives. "His legacy will live on."
