Carolyn and I are sad to hear of Mikes passing. Mike was always willing to help and his knowledge and wit made every discussion fun and lively. Our industry has lost a veteran.

My sincerest condolences to Mike's family and friends. My prayers and thoughts are with you. His stories and laughter will always be remembered.

I will miss Michael's sense of humour, his infectious laugh and wonderful Hallowe'en costume. His passion and dedication to the animals and his fellow volunteers is what I will remember of this great man. Sunday will not be the same at the zoo.

Growing up, "Uncle Michael" was always larger than life. I was thinking about him just the other day watching movies on Beta. I will forever remember his laughter and kindness. My thoughts are with you Auntie Marion and Matthew

My sincere condolences to Marion and family. Mike was a true friend for many years. I remember fondly our times eating Tyne pies cooked on the BBQ and drinking Pigeon River coolers. He will be missed! Gary and family.

Michael was a wonderful man and a great Zoo volunteer. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone around him. My deepest condolences to the family.
