KIRBY, Michael. Born September 29, 1948. Passed away on September 02, 2023 peacefully at Auckland Hospital, surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of Sue, cherished father of Denise, beloved Grandpa of India and Paige and much loved by Justin, Cooper and Noah. A funeral service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at Purewa Cemetery 100/102 Saint Johns Road Meadowbank, Monday 11th September at 2pm. All enquiries to Davis Funeral Home Mt Eden.

Dear Daryl, Val, Sue and the extended Kirby family. Please accept our deepest sympathies, condolences and prayers on the recent passing of Michael. May his soul rest in Peace and Almighty God grant you all the strength and guidance to bear this great loss. ( BTW -Uncle Percy also taught me a few chords around 1967 ) .
We were able to watch the whole service "live" from Savannah GA.

Uncle Mike was my only Uncle and he was my mentor and inspiration. Every time we got together we had a laugh and I will miss him.
