Michael JARVIS Obituary

JARVIS, Michael James (Mike). On September 7th 2018 peacefully at North Haven Hospice, Whangarei aged 72. Much loved son of the late Lionel and Connie Jarvis. Father of Deanne, Shevaun and Jonathan, Kheryn and Glenn. Loved grandad of James, Joshua, Aaron, Alicia, Drew, Kellan, and Asher. Great grandfather of Vincent. A memorial service will be held at a latter date. In lieu of flowers donations sent direct to the North Haven Hospice PO Box 7050, Tikipunga, Whangarei 0112 would be appreciated. Communications to the 'Jarvis Family' C/- PO Box 8043, Kensington, Whangarei 0145.

We were sad to hear that Mike had passed after his stoic battle with cancer. We saw Mike only a few weeks ago when he stayed at our place to enjoy some music. Mike had a love of folk music which he shared with Mark. He enjoyed camping with us at the Auckland Folk festival the past couple of years. We're sad that we didn't get to say our final farewell but you will always be in out hearts Mike. We'll miss your big smile, stories, and cheeky humor. Rest in peace old boy, you endured a lot the past 2 years. Lots of love to all Mikes family, he loved you all. We'll be having a Glayva or two for you. Lots of love Rach, Mark and Ruby.
