Michael HOLIBAR Obituary

HOLIBAR, Michael Douglas. Passed away on 20 December 2024, in his 90th year. Devoted and dearly loved by his wife Dariel. Cherished dad to Jamie and Ritchie, Robyn and Lyle, and the late Jennie. Adored Poppa to Noel, Jack, Mollie, Meg, Eve and Sammie. Loved and respected by his extended family and many friends. Rest peacefully with our darling Jennie. A service celebrating Mike's life will be held at Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club, 90 Keith Allen Drive, Tauranga, on Friday 3 January at 1:30pm. Livestream may be viewed, and tributes left at https://www.legacyfunerals.co.nz/s/mike. Please consider donating to Waipuna Hospice in lieu of flowers. As a family we are saddened to hear of Mikes passing. Mike was a highly respected friend of my late dad Trevor Heaps and mum Heather.
Dad enjoyed Mikes friendship over many years as they shared company when Mike would call on dad who was in the construction industry.
He would ring and continued to stay in touch with dad over the years , and his name was often spoken in our family household.
Rest in peace Mike - you are a true gentleman.
