Mike - we didn´t stay in contact as much as we could have in the last few years. But to hear the news of your passing is hard to take in. We had so many good times through work - both at Deloitte and DTR, as well as outside with all the fondue nights, dinners and events. When I think of you, I smile and laugh at the jokes and humour which always seemed to flow so freely. I´ve been sharing some of those stories with my kids and they´ve smiled too - making people smile was one of your great abilities. Knowing someone 30 years seems a long a long time - I just wish it could have been another 30 more. To your children, family and friends - my sympathies. John Arnerich.

My heart felt condolences to the family and friends who have lost such an incredible person with so much of his life still to live.
Michael was always the energy in the room shining bright. People often asked if this 'up beat' Michael was how he was all the time - of course I said a resounding yes!
I have worked with Michael professionally for over 18 years in the world of recruitment as both a client and a candidate and I have so enjoyed the career journey with you. Michael it has always been an absolute pleasure working with you, and right now words are hard to find to express what a huge hole you have left in so many lives; both personally and professionally. Fly high, shine brightly and know that you made your mark even though your time was short on planet earth.
