Michael ANDREWS Obituary

ANDREWS, Michael Dolling. On June 6th 2022, peacefully at Mercy Parklands in his 90th year. Dearly beloved husband to Pauline for 64 years. Dearly loved father of Mark and Tracey and Mark's partner Jo. Treasured and adored grandfather of Ali and Ben. Brother to Sheila and late Rev Maurice Rounthwaite. Loved Uncle to Michael John, and Christopher Rounthwaite. Brother in law to Ariane and the late Peter Martelli. Uncle to Kirsten, Leigh, Anna and Brett. " A true gentleman to the end." A service to celebrate Mick's life will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church, 95 Remuera Road, Remuera on Tuesday 14th June at 2.30 PM to be followed by a private cremation. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Mercy Parklands. In lieu of flowers, donations to www.dementiaauckland.org. nz would be appreciated.

Dear Pauline, Mark, Jo and Tracey. We are thinking of you as we remember the many fun times we had together with Mick. Whangapoua was his special place. We remember him fearlessly crossing the bar in his boat, body surfing and buffeted in the waves collecting tua tuas. He was competitive in everything he did, including the "back nine". He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed life to the full. Our gin buddy, always the perfect host.
We will miss Mick.
