Merlene WRIGHT Obituary
WRIGHT, Merlene Joy. Passed away peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital on Tuesday 10 February 2026 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle. Aged 69 years. Loving and cherished wife of Dennis (Kiwi) for 53 years. Devoted mum and mother in law of Robbie and Nicky, Andy and Karen, Craig and Mary-Anne, and Jamie. Loving Nana to Cameron, Chloe, Oliver, Caleb, Jared, Paige, Sam, and Abbey. Great grandmother to Otto. Adored sister of David. Special thanks to the staff at ICU for their loving care of Merlene. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Merlene at the Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North on Tuesday 17 February 2026 at 2pm.
