Merle CLIMO Obituary
CLIMO, Merle Ruth. 28 April 1937 -21 February 2024. Loving and caring wife of the late Wally. Wonderful and special mum, to Debbie and Mike, Jacqui and Henry, cherished Nan of Sean and Tau, Kaylee and Courtney. Loved sister of Anthony and Viv, Phyl, and the late Joe, Caring aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Adored mum of Ava, her loving companion. Passed away in Christchurch Hospital while on holiday. A celebration of Merle's life, will be held at the Pyes Pa Memorial Park Chapel, 403 Pyes Pa Rd Tauranga, on Friday 8 March at 10am. Communication to the Climo family, c/o P.O. Box 650 Tauranga 3144.

I am grateful to Merle for her incredible expertise in cross stitching. Many years ago, she accepted the daunting task of stitching two large pictures for me, both on fine linen. Her work was faultless! These beautiful works of art are still displayed in our home today. I enjoyed getting to know Merle and Wally back then, albeit only briefly. They were a lovely couple.
My sincere sympathy to Merle's family in the loss of their kind and gifted mother and grandmother.
