Melvyn DAVIES Obituary

DAVIES, Melvyn (Mel). Peacefully at Thames Hospital on 28th July, 2023; surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of Joan for 59 years. Father of Carl and Tracey, Helen and Phil. 'Poppa Mel' of Matthew, Cameron, Josh, Nicole, Hannah, Jenna and Jordan. Great Poppa of Luna and Indi. Special thanks to the staff at Tararu Care Home and Thames Hospital for their excellent care of Mel. A private cremation has taken place.

Condolences to the family.Happy memories of two young "rookies" in 1955 making first appearances for the Auckland Major League softball team.Also thinking we were already home and locking us out of my Westmere home!!At 4 in the morning so we shouldhave been .RIP old Buddy Trev
