ROAKE, Melva Joyce. 21 September 1935 - 22 August 2023. Peacefully Passed away on Tuesday 22nd August 2023 surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of David. Adored mum to Brenda, Gavin, Averil (deceased) and Clive. Loved grandma to all her grandchildren and great children. A service to celebrate Melva's life will be held at the Taupo Baptist Church, 141 Rifle Range Road, Taupo on Tuesday 29th August 2pm. Messages to The Roake Family, c/- PO Box 940, Taupo 3351. So sorry to hear of Melva's passing. A beloved and good friend and encourager for over fifty years. Grateful for her & David sharing in ministry with us in Tasmania twenty years ago. We were pleased to catch up with them again in Taupo last November. We thank God for Melva and pray that God's peace and comfort will be with David and the family.
