Melanie WALDRON Obituary

WALDRON, Melanie Rachel. Born August 20, 1974. Passed away on October 30, 2024. Melanie passed away peacefully after a long hard-fought battle with MS. Aged 50 years. Youngest daughter of Gary and Audrey Waldron (both deceased). Youngest sibling to Peter, Naomi, Linda, David, Robin (deceased), Lee-Anne, Jeanette and Michael. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge our grateful thanks for the care of Melanie at her residential home in Winslow Court in Hamilton and Waikato Hospital. Also mention must be made of Mel's church friends for the support, prayers, songs, laughs and sharing but in particular to Linda, Heather and Karren = amazing ladies! Mel's final week was spent at Radius Glaisdale where she received outstanding care from a dedicated nursing team! She is now resting peacefully. A remembrance gathering is planned at the Hamilton Gardens at 11am on November 30th. All welcome for a time of sharing and memories of Melanie.
