May Alice (Owens) Peckskamp, 87, was peacefully called to her heavenly home Saturday, May 8, 2010, surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Leonard J. "Bob" Peckskamp. May is survived by one sister, Norma E. Nieman, of Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard "Ray" Owens, of Hopewell, Herbert Owens and Robert Owens, both of St. Petersburg, Fla. May was an executive secretary to the president of Mobay Chemical Co. and was the first female secretary to retire with a full pension after a 25 year career. Her passion was playing tennis all of her life until the age of 85. May will be missed by her family and lifelong devoted friends. Friends will be received from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the JOHN F.
