BARNES, Maxwell Ernest (Max). On Thursday, 7 June 2018, with his family by his side, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Marion for 52 years. Much loved and adored Dad of Sandra, Karyn and Steve and Jacko. Treasured Poppa of Noah and Stevie. Brother-in-law and friend of Ron and Elaine and Ian. 'A true gentleman who will never be forgotten'. Special thanks to Dr Brendon Eade for his wonderful care and the staff at Te Aroha and District Community Hospital. A service to celebrate Max's life is to be held in the Te Aroha RSA, Rewi Street, Te Aorha, on Thursday, 14 June at 10:30 a.m. followed by private interment at the Te Aroha Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society and Heart Foundation in Max's memory would be greatly appreciated and can be posted to Watersons Funeral Services, 6 Tamihana Street, Matamata or may be left at the service.
