Sorry to hear of Max passing away. Max bought Hickson & Raven Agency off my father, Lew Raven. He was driven in all aspects of life. Missed by all I´m sure.

Max will always be remembered by us as an intelligent, loving and dignified family man with a great sense of humour and a person who led and shared life to the full and was taken from us too soon. Sincere love and best wishes to the Marsh family. Max will never be forgotten.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of one of my mentors and one of the most formative leaders who helped me into my career. Max always had time even when he didn't, he always had a smile on his face and always had a way of putting one on everyone else too.

I have many distinct memories of Max who gave me a crack in an industry when no one else would have taken me seriously, but he also knew when not to take life seriously. I have immense respect for what he achieved in his life all whilst remaining humble and loyal to those around him. The industry has lost a giant today but many people continue to stand on your broad shoulders. You will be sorely missed, but never forgotten by all of those you helped. Lyn, Pam and the wider family, my thoughts are with you and I wish I could make an appearance to celebrate his life, and the impact he had on everyone around him

One of the pioneers and hero´s of modern insurance brokering. We shared the same values but you were more ambitious. I will miss you my friend as I have lost someone that I could confide in.
Rest easy in the sure knowledge we meet again
