Max Martin Obituary

MARTIN, Max. Peacefully at his home in Pakaraka, Bay of Islands 13 May 2011 aged 84 years. Adored husband and best friend for 55 years of Janet. Loved and loving father, father-in-law and grandfather to Debra and Rex Shand, Ross (Max) and Susie Martin (Melbourne), Nathan, Oliver and Lucy. Special "Macnee" and Uncle Max to Bronwen, Campbell and his many nieces and nephews. Ka mate he tete, ka tapu he tete As one frond dies, another grows in its place. In lieu of flowers, donations to Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind, P O Box 8139, Kensington, Whangarei 0145 would be appreciated, or may be left at Max's service. A service to remember Max's life will be held at the Holy Trinity Church, State Highway 1 Pakaraka, Bay of Islands, Tuesday 17 May 2011 at 2pm. Thereafter private cremation.
