Mavis Wilson Obituary

WILSON, Mavis Joy (Joy). Peacefully at Thames Hospital, on 28 March, 2011; aged 87 years. Very dearly loved wife of the late Ralph, treasured Mum of Heather and Roy McCormick, (108 Centennial Ave, Thames), Grant and Diane, Marilyn and Neville Tuck, Paul and Andrea. Dearly loved Nana of all her grandchildren and Great- Grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late Walter and Clara Lomas. 'Forever in our hearts'. A celebration of Joy's life will be held at St George The Martyr Anglican Church, Mackay Street, Thames, tomorrow (Friday) 1 April, at 11.00am, followed by interment at Totara Memorial Park Cemetery, RSA Section. In lieu of flowers donations to the Royal New Zealand Foundation For The Blind would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 854, Hamilton.
