Mavis SMITH Obituary

SMITH, Mavis Marian (Parr). Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on 19th February 2025 at Maygrove Village hospital, age 102. Much loved wife and best friend to the late Gordon. Loved and adored mum to Bryan, Peter, Michael, Lesley Ann and David. Cherished mother-in-law to Rachel, Chika and Brett. Treasured Nana to Tania and Kelvin, Jordan and Jana, Jacquie, Adam, Courtenay, Hannah, and Lauren, Shelley and Mark. Amazing great nana to Jayden, Logan, Grayson, Olivia and Joseph, Diarmid, Molly, Marni and Sofia. Mum you lived your life selflessly, everyone left better for seeing your smile and words of encouragement. We will carry your wisdom and love forever. A celebration of Mavis's life will be held at Settlers Cottage, Auckland Memorial Park, 2163 East Coast Road, Silverdale on Sunday 23 February at 5pm.
