Mavis MILLS Obituary

MILLS, Mavis Joan. Peacefully at Dunstan Hospital on Thursday, 2 May, 2019, aged 92 years. Loved wife of the late Frank, loved and cherished mother of Keith (Otautau), Robert (NSW), Allyson (Oturehua) and Jennifer (Sydney), much loved Grandma, Nana of all her grandchildren and Great-Nana of all her great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Mavis' life will be held in Central Otago Funeral Chapel, 16 Ennis Street, Alexandra on Wednesday, 8 May, at 1.30pm. Followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations kindly accepted for the Local SPCA and St John Ambulance would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages 64 Main Road, Otautau 9610.

Mave darling Ian and I are so sad to learn of your death. We have had many many years of friendship, tears, joy, heaps of laughter and lots of teasing about wearing your lippy.
We wish we had known you were leaving this life as we would have been down for one last cuppa, big hugs and the opportunity to say our goodbyes. You have been a precious part of our lives to know and love but now you and Frank are together so keep the lippy on darling now you are in Heaven and our love to you both. May all your sadness be over and perfect health once again. Your heart will sing again.
