Mavis McCLURE Obituary

McCLURE, Mavis Joan. On 15 September 2014 in her 91st year at Waikato Hospital with family around. Together again with her dearly loved husband, the late Lyn (Mac). Loved and cherished mother of Pauline and Brian Dingle, and David and Irene. Devoted Gran to Alison and Scott; Sosa (Sandra), Lynette, Deborah and Chris. Special great granny of Paige, Boston and Braxton; Mac and Eva; Olivia and Lauren; Renee, Shauna, Hayley and Patrick; Sasha and Caleb. The family wish to thank the staff at Aparangi Care Centre, Te Kauwhata for their tireless love, care and support of Mavis and her family. A service will be held at the St Margaret's Anglican Church, Waerenga Road, Te Kauwhata on Thursday 18 September at 1pm to be followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Friends of Aparangi would be appreciated, posted to PO Box 31 Te Kauwhata or left at the service. Mclure Family, I was sorry to see that Mavis had passed away. I new Mavis when she lived next to my parents Ruth and Stewart Clark in Willowdale road
Aparangi,when dad was so Ill she used to help with him, dad said that Mavis was the best.Mavis was a wonderful friend to everyone, and she will be sadly missed by us all.

Mclure Family,Mavis was my mums neighbour in Willowdale road Ruth and Stewart Clark, dad said that Mavis was the best, many times when dad was so ill she came over to help mum she was simply a wonderful lady was always their.We had some great times on the piano to.Mavis was a great Lady and a friend to all we will miss her.

Mavis had a great sence of humar, in the short time I knew Mavis when we had a little chat at the resthome, most times she was happy. One day when I left she said to me " say hello to Tom" it might mean something to the family. Rest in peace My friend. Dianne Stone
