Mavis BRAY Obituary

Bray, Mavis Joyce (Joy) (Nee Patterson). In her 87th year. 24 September 1939 - 25 March 2026. Due to a sudden illness Joy has now been able to join her beloved Bevan, who passed last year, and daughter Lynelle who died in 2013. Loved and already missed by eldest daughter Karen and son in law Euan, grandchildren Max, Jesse, Jazmin, Jayden, Lily-Rose, and their partners Elvisa, Campbell, Jessie and Sam. Her parents were Jim and Mavis Patterson and she'll be truly missed by brother Jim and his wife Beryl, and sister Lyn. She loved and was loved as Nana Joy by her great grandchildren Elijah, Orion, Rawiri and Wiremu. She had great connections and aroha with her many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends... Mum/Nana Joy, had a very full extensive life of giving, sharing and caring, involving herself in the communities of Taupo and Tauranga. Abiding with Joy's wishes she has already been cremated. A notice will be given at a future time when the wildness of the world will allow a memorial gathering that gives her life the celebration it deserves. Okioki i runga i te rangimarie....RIP
