Maurice Hunt Obituary

HUNT, Maurice Wylly. Peacefully on 19 March 2011 at Auckland Hospital, surrounded by his wife and loving family, in his 84th year. Dearly beloved husband of Judith. Loved father of Marion, Rosemary, Vivienne, Sandra, and Peter. Loved step- father of Anna and Stephanie. Loved father-in-law of Doug, and friend of Brian, Bryce, Paul, Anne, Stephen, and Nathan. Loved grandfather of Brendan, Tracy, Natalie, Katy, Sarah-Jean, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Harry, Mathew, Julia, Antony, Daniel, and Bayly. Great grandfather of Christian, Amity, Nicholas, and Ryan. May he rest in peace. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, 19 Banff Ave, Epsom on Thursday 24th March at 10.30am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army, Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, PO Box 5035, Wellesley Street, Auckland 1141 would be appreciated.

HUNT, Maurice. You brought much love and laughter to us all. We lost a true friend and a lovely bridge player as you made your final contract of Seven No Trumps. We miss you. Our love and thoughts to Judith and the family. From all of us at the Royle Epsom Bridge Club.
